ECOSCI

EcoSci was founded in early 1994 and rapidly established itself as one of the UK's leading specialists in the field of composting - processing and recycling a wide range of organic wastes - with the emphasis on environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions.

EcoSci’s core activity is composting of garden waste. This is green waste composted directly in the southwest, where West Country Compost and ZooPoo are produced.

EcoSci opened a TEG in-vessel composting site at Exeter in 2008 and can now accept up to 14,000 tonnes of food waste per year, which is processed in the IVC to produce Horticulture Plus which is a nutrient rich compost for bulk use.

West Country Compost and Horticulture Plus are peat free and have PAS 100 accreditation. West Country Compost is recoignised by the Soil Association, and is therefore well suited for organic farmers and horticulturists.

West Country Compost and Zoo Poo are available from many retail outlets throughout the West Country and from Coblands on-line in the South East. Customers include landscapers, golf courses, professional growers, allotments and domestic gardeners.

The Hill Barton composting facility is located just off the M5, junction 30 at Hill Barton Business Park. The Hill Barton facility was sold to the TEG Group in 2014.

EcoSci was part of Glendale Recycling, a division of Glendale a leading provider of green services to the private and public sectors for 10 years up until 2014. Glendale's divisions include
